I didn't set out to build a biological theory.
I'm Jacqueline J. Horsford — the founder of NeuHealing LLC.
This work began at home. For nearly a decade, I navigated my daughter Jasmine's autism journey.
I followed specialist recommendations, therapies, and interventions that were well-intentioned but often fragmented. Despite tremendous time, effort, and expense, progress felt limited — and the explanations felt incomplete.
Eventually, I stopped looking for one more intervention.
I started looking for the connections.
"Instead of asking only, 'What diagnosis fits?' I began asking, 'What is happening across my daughter's body — and how might these systems be affecting one another?'"
My background taught me to look for patterns inside complicated systems.
My experience with Jasmine gave me a reason to apply that skill somewhere I never expected: human biology.
As I studied the scientific literature, one question kept resurfacing:
"What if some complex conditions aren't explained only by what is high, low, deficient, mutated, or dysfunctional — but also by what has fallen out of coordination?"
That question became the foundation of my independent research.
Today, I study biological timing, cell–terrain relationships, recovery dynamics, temporal coherence, coherence rescaling, and transitions between physiological states.
My work has developed into the Terrain–Timing Series — an open-science, hypothesis-generating research program exploring these ideas across complex human biology.

Jacqueline J. Horsford is an independent researcher, systems analyst, and the founder of NeuHealing LLC. She holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and possesses a professional background in data and systems analysis, specializing in the modeling of complex, multi-tiered networks.
As a Certified Functional Genomics & Nutrition Coach, her work bridges classical systems architecture with molecular biology, network physiology, and chronobiology.
Leveraging her background in data systems to look between the gaps of traditional biomedical paradigms, she developed the Terrain–Timing Model — a comprehensive, ten-monograph theoretical framework. The series formalizes how progressive physiological failure and self-reinforcing disease states can emerge entirely through the non-linear desynchronization of structurally intact, individually functional components across scales.
Her research program introduces formal systems parameters — such as temporal handoff failure, terrain carryover, Terrain Fragility, and the Biological Event Horizon — to provide testable, mathematical mechanisms for phenotypic heterogeneity and state transitions in complex conditions including ALS, Parkinson's, and schizophrenia.
